How to change my default location on PC?

I got PC from a friend who lived in another state, I use yahoo as homepage. Pretty ignorant with computer stuff. So, when I try to get directions, the starting point shows the out of state city as my starting point. Also, I see weather info from a city 800 miles away. Is there one place to go and change or delete the home location info. I've added my current address in something, but the old city/zipcode shows as the primary.
