Advice needed on moving an aquarium.?
I have a 20 gallon river tank ecosystem. This is a special aquarium that houses 9 fish and 3 dwarf African frogs. It only has 6 -7 inches of water ( about 6 gallons). I need to move it from school to home in a few days ( summer vacation and a building that is not air conditioned in the summer.) This is my question. I am concerned about trying to catch the frogs since I have read they cannot be caught in a net. I am contemplating catching the fish, then removing any loose objects and draining the tank until it contained only 2-3 inches of water. That way I could move it frogs and all. Has anyone had any experience moving a partially full aquarium? How likely is it to damage the seals etc.? I would appreciate any advice from an expert or someone who has done this before - successfully or not!
